With the aim of reducing asymmetries in Postgraduate Programs, FAPEAM, in partnership with Capes, held on March 14, 2025, the alignment meeting of projects supported under the Postgraduate Asymmetry Reduction Program (PRAPG-CAPES). The ceremony was held at Fapeam headquarters, in the Flores neighborhood, South-Central area of Manaus.
During the event, the CEO of Fapeam, Márcia Perales Mendes Silva, highlighted that the postgraduate programs supported through PRAPG are in concept 3, according to the evaluations of the last three Capes cycles, and that the partnership is working hard to increase them to 4 Concept.
With the presence of the Pro-Rector of Research and Postgraduate Studies of UEA, Prof. Roberto Sanches Mubarac Sobrinho and the Coordinator of PPGMBT, Jair Max Furtunato Maia, and representatives of UFAM, the agreement signed will allocate to PPGMBT cost resources for the next three years that will guarantee continuity of the Program’s strategic planning to reduce the asymmetries that impede the growth of the PPG.
